I'm only halfway through my first of 5 sessions available for free at CineSummit.com and I have a new level of understanding anamorphic lenses. Pierre Gill CSC has one hell of an eye and he conveys his knowledge well. Looking forward to the rest. Only 20 hours left to watch the first five presentations of day one for free!

I am not that familiar with the concept of anamorphic lenses. I would like to research more on that after reading your blog. I think that I am also interested in attending your classes. I am just not sure if you are still conducting during this year. But if you are, I will definitely be one of the audience. I wish you well in your photography.

I suggest that you should definitely make the most out of it while it still for free. Cine Summit is one of the most interesting online event for cinematographers. I don't think that I've seen such event for cinematographers before and the fact that it's available online just makes it cooler. It's just so fascinating to participate in taht kind of event because some of the best cinematographers in the world are actually there. I hope you could enjoy your stay there. I just really wish that I could join next time.

Being a Director of Photography isn't just about taking the video and keep it rolling, it's really more than that! You have a primary job to make sure that every shot you take, your angle and lighting are perfect. You need to follow the order of your Director. That's why I'm not surprised with the topic you've written here. By the way, how was your overall CineSummit.com experience? I'm hoping it went well!
