For the last four days I've been shooting content at the NADA 100 conference in New Orleans. In order to be able to shoot PAL and extend recording times for 60+ minute presentations, I installed the Open Memories Tweak app on my Sony #a7s. Closing in on the end of day four and I haven't had one issue. Pulling the LCD out from the body and using the a7s battery adaptor powered by #AntonBauer has kept the heat down and helped perform for full production days. Who needs camcorders anymore??!! #shogun

Over the past few weeks, I have been shooting interviews at SAPs beautiful Hudson Yards location in Midtown Manhattan. Beautiful views in every direction from the 53rd floor made the decision of where to set up interviews rather simple. Of course, we weren't prepared for the amount of output we would need to combat full sunlight exterior. A RED Weapon, Sony a7s & a Sony FS5 matched up pretty darn well utilizing flat picture profiles and some good post work. A few more videos to come in the future but here is the first released.
My company Pocono Digital House created this piece as an informative and exciting way to recruit new talent to join the Arabella Advisors team. Shot in one day with one camera and a three person crew at their offices in Washington D.C.
This September, I had the pleasure of shooting the 2nd Annual Ride for the Veterans held by SAP, with benefits going towards Fisher House Foundation. The event featured a ride from Newtown Square to York, PA with a police escort, live demos of SAP technology connected to the motorcycles, and SAP and United Way volunteers who helped to pack gift bags for Fisher House locations across the country. It was one of those projects I truly wished I got to edit as well but... Working for a good cause in any capacity is rewarding Swamp Queen Productions brought me on to help create an informative video focusing on recruiting top talent to join the Country View Family Farms team. Having the opportunity to film on a pig farm in beautiful North Central PA was exciting and an eye opener. I couldn't believe how clean & well run the facilities were (no I'm not just saying that). I left the farm feeling much more positively that I thought I would. Earlier this week I had the pleasure of filming a BTS video for Eric Wortham's Yamaha All Access photo shoot. His recent work has been touring with Adele and Jill Scott as their pianist. We filmed at his apartment in South Philly which had vintage gold wallpaper and a beautiful wall made of square mirrors with beveled edges that gave me some great "Good Will Hunting" shots. Looking forward to seeing the final piece once Yamaha finishes the edit! My first fashion project in three years turned out to be a fun one working with great people all around. The dresses and models are beautiful and video catalog turned out great considering the many constraints we dealt with on set. Below is just one of sixty videos I created for the Spring 2016 Catalog. Last week I was brought on by Bowstring Studios to shoot some social media content for Esurance. Assurance held a sweepstakes in which they chose two fans from every city that had a MLB ball club for an all inclusive trip to the MLB All-Star week. Flights, hotel, tickets to all events, private lounge and more was provided and they all seemed to have a hell of a time. The production team ran interviews and followed the winners around for four days. Editors were set up on site and handed footage through out the day which was cut overnight by the post team who had a DIT station and five edit bays hooked up to a 130 TB raid system. After being approved by Esurance and the MLB, they were uploaded to Facebook and YouTube as each video was approved, usually in a 36 hour turnaround. It was a long, tough week but in the end everyone was happy and we created some great content. One of the pieces which is embedded below has over 330,000 views and has only been online for three days at the time of writing this!!!! I'd like to say it is because of cinematography work of myself and Rory Peach, but I have to give the credit to Chris Sladek on the edit and the two Seattle Mariners fans just being flat out hilarious. The videos can be seen on Esurances Facebook video page or searching the hashtag #ASGWorthyFan. #ASGWorthyFan Exclusive: Seattle Mariners Part 2 I'm only halfway through my first of 5 sessions available for free at CineSummit.com and I have a new level of understanding anamorphic lenses. Pierre Gill CSC has one hell of an eye and he conveys his knowledge well. Looking forward to the rest. Only 20 hours left to watch the first five presentations of day one for free!
